this necklace was given to me by one of the partners at work. I have to share his story with you.
he was on vacation in Bermuda, and while on the beach, he saw these necklaces at a little vendor's hut. they're hand carved. he spent the next two hours on and off negotiating the price down. he thought they were so cute, he bought them all.
that is so like Ken. he is a true, old school gentleman who still buys his secretary fresh flowers weekly. I find it so generous and touching to know that Ken bought all this wood carver's work. can you imagine how flattered and excited the carver must have been, to sell in one day what he probably sells in a couple weeks?
