my brother and his ex wife soon to be his next wife have finally set the date! tis good. besides the fact that they are a beautiful couple...I get tired of getting confused with saying "my sister in law, Angie..." and then having to go "oh, wait. my EX sister in law, Angie"....because, let's be honest. I've always thought of her as my sister in law, and I always will. *giggle* but never mind MY OWN CONVENIENCE....I'm thrilled that they're happy.
thank god you two found each other again.
why, I believe tis my sister, Cindy!! it's only been 8+ years since I've seen her in St. Louis, but I'd recognize her anywhere. ;)
gatherings like this are a rare occasion for us, but I always walk away incredibly greatful that I have the family that I do...we LOVE LAUGHTER!! and not only was it family night but it was an impromptu girl's night as well. all us ladies took Cindy shopping at the craft store. (she bought...well, crafts. me? I bought silly straws and a stuffed toy crab to give to my honey the next time he's in a bad mood. I'll either get kicked out of the house or a belly laugh...)
and then it was back to J and J's crib for icecream and spoonfuls of chocolate fudge topping. because that? that is TOTALLY on my diet.
anyhoodle. it was a great night and here's to hoping we can make it happen a tad more often.
first if all, thank you to my amazingly beautiful family for putting up with zee ole camera. second...if you don't have your monitor set to a pretty high resolution, then you will miss most of these photos. just sayin'.
there, but not pictured...Doug who wasn't in the mood to tolerate yet another instance of me shoving a camera in his face. and also? me...because I was taking the damn pictures. :)
missing and very much missed...Janice and Kayla.
